Skills worth spending time on:
Communication. The ability to clearly take in and provide information. (This includes listening; and both speaking and writing.)
Critical thinking. My ability to interpret the information I take in.
Managing my emotions. How I identify and regulate my feelings to avoid becoming overwhelmed by them.
Self-care. The practice of becoming responsible for my health and well-being.
Discipline. The behavior I follow to accomplish what I set out to do. (This means abandoning the notion that motivation or inspiration play a role in getting something done.)
Adaptability. My ability to adjust in the face of change.
Resilience. How I tolerate and bounce back from difficulty.
Serendipity. The ability to encounter wonderful things I was not looking for.
Purpose. A sense of why I do what I do.
Curiosity. An inexhaustible desire to learn, know, explore, discover.
Creativity. The ability to make something new.
